Camp Selection

To be selected for this program SSEAYP , everyone must come to 'Camp Selection'. In this camp selection is a simulation of activity that will be doing in ship . Camp Selection is not camping or tidur dalam khemah but more into activity mcm team building whereby every participant wajib melakukan beberapa aktiviti for example Presentation , Persembahan Kebudayaan secara berkumpulan atau individu , Senaman Pagi , Aktiviti keagamaan. , Halang Komando . Acting  and group cheers. All activity bercirikan atas kapal and english is the medium language for this program . Nak tak nak must able to converse in English.

My 1st camp selection was last year but then I'm not selected . But it's ok coz I tak terlalu mengharap and on that time I really busy with my work . Takut i cannot commit for this program . So i come for this year for my 2nd camp selection and finally i'm selected . All candidate are from various youth organization and seluruh Malaysia . Most of them are highly educated and hold various post in their organization . Last year in camp selection is around 200 but in this year is 120 something. So for this year the competition is not very hard compare to last year. This is some picture during the camp selection. Almost every the activity will be the same.

This is the place for camp selection was held at 'Akademi Pembangunan Belia Malaysia (APBM), Port Dickson

Bagaimana saya terlibat with this programe ?

In 2009 my frenz mula memperkenal with this program. Frankly speaking mmg i didn't know anything about this program. My frez told me everything about this program . He has been there before and banyak lah dia menceritakan betapa seronok and banyak pengalaman yg boleh diperolehi semasa mengikuti program ini . Anyway my frenz ni is a scoutmaster same with me . He the one who introduce me about this programe. He saw me that i have a potential to be selected in this program . He knows me very well because i and him was involve in scout and youth development sudah agak lama sehingga sekarang. So he told it's time for to expand my experience in this programe.

So he give me the form and i bawa balik rumah dulu . Then bila balik rumah i try to seach "what is all about this program ". Memang menarik and make me interested to join it . Why it make me interested to join it because berlayar atas kapal selama 2 bulan . Menarik and mencabar fizikal and mental . Then i send the form to Kementerian Belia Sukan & Rekreasi.  Yang membuat i tercabar because one of my leader is also xPY for this programe in 90's something .. Then the history will begin ..
